Bills Running Back Marshawn Lynch, Bucs Quarterback Josh Johnson to host

Family First 4th Annual Summer Football Camp

Oakland natives and NFL stars provide a free camp for youth

Johnson will again join forces to give back to their hometown community by offering the children of Oakland a

Family First opportunity to learn about football from NFL players in a fun environment.

This FREE camp will be held Saturday, July 10 at Oakland Tech High School. The camp provides 600 youth ages

6 – 18 years old the opportunity to work on their football skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork skills, while

building self‐esteem both on and off the field. Each participant will receive a t‐shirt and refreshments as well

as have the opportunity to meet with Lynch, Johnson and other NFL celebrities.

“Oakland is home,” said Lynch. “Giving back to my community is extremely important to me. Providing these

kids with an opportunity to have fun and learn football at the same time is a great experience for Josh and

me.”

Johnson echoed this sentiment. “Football was such a big part of my life growing up in Oakland, and I'm

fortunate that along with my cousin Marshawn, I can give these kids the opportunity to play the sport we love

and at the same time build skills that will help them succeed in life.”

The camp is currently registering the first 300 children ages 6 – 12 years old and the first 300 children ages 13‐

18. Parents can find the registration form and waiver at Coach Delton Edwards' office at Oakland Tech High

School. Please return ALL forms to Coach Delton Edwards by June 18. Information can also be found at
